I See My Creator Everywhere! Do you?

I am sitting on my front porch reading my bible. The air is cool, the sun is shining. I hear various song birds and I watch the squirrels foraging through the grass. How wonderful my Creator is! Nature is the Lord’s second book.  My hummingbird feeder is less the 20 feet from me. I look up from my studies when I hear the humming of their wings which signals their intention to feed from the feeder. On the other side of me, about the same distance, I am able to watch the robin build her nest on top of the gutter downspout. These sights and sounds around me are a constant reminder of what God created for us to enjoy. Nature is an illustration of God”s charecter.

    The Lord always provides.

“Children should be encouraged to search out in nature the objects that illustrate Bible teachings, and to trace in the Bible the similitudes drawn from nature. They should search out, both in nature and in Holy Writ, every object representing Christ, and those also that He employed in illustrating truth. Thus may they learn to see Him in tree and vine, in lily and rose, in sun and star. They may learn to hear His voice in the song of birds, in the sighing of the trees, in the rolling thunder, and in the music of the sea. And every object in nature will repeat to them His precious lessons.”
