Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
I don’t know if I would call it “playtime”. Playtime is what children engage in. But “playtime” is not really playtime for a child. It’s really another platform for learning and growing. Children learn social skills and fine tune their muscles during playtime. Also, playtime teaches children critical thinking skills.
As an adult I consider anything that is not “a have to do things for my daily life”. My crafts (working on my pysanky eggs) take me away from the stresses of my daily life. They improve my fine motor skills. They also enhance my mathematical skills.
“Playtime”, whatever you call it has a purpose in all of our lives.
