Wild animals oh my!

Do you ever see wild animals?

I enjoy photographing nature! Landscapes, water falls, rocks and wildlife. Photographing moose in the Grand Tetons and wildlife in the Galapagos Islands are my most valued experiences. I had never seen moose in the wild. On the Galapogis Islands most wildlife is within 4 or 5 feet from you. One has to be conscious of this and not step on any animals in your path

Sally Lightfoot crab closeup
Sally Lightfoot crabs are a vibrant species of crab that are commonly found in the Galapagos Islands, but can also be found along the coasts of Central America.  Sally Lightfoot crabs are scavengers that eat algae and detritus. They are known for their agility and ability to walk on water.
These marine iguanas were amongst hundreds lying on the beach. Boy did they stink! The marine iguana is the only lizard in the world with the ability to live and forage at sea, and is endemic to the Galapagos Archipelago.
I was about sux feet from this nest!
