This tree which appears very small was taken with a telescopic lens. It’s standing alone on the edge of a very high cliff in Utah. It has to weather treacherous winds, searing heat, freezing snow and ice and horrific rain, yet it still stands proudly in defiance. Then there is this huge billowing cloud which looks like it will overtake the tree. This tree reminds me of myself! How I can stand tall and survive the hard times. I can enjoy the beauty of our earth all in the presence of my Lord (the cloud) who is always there and protects me!
